What’s Next?
(Step 1)
Confirmation: Your booking deposit will not be charged until we accept and confirm your reservation. When this happens, you will receive a confirmation email that will include booking details and a completed rental contract.
(Step 2)
Pre-Rental Instruction and Safety: Florida state law requires that the individual who will be operating the vessel provide a signature stating that he/she has read and understands the instructions for operation, safety, and emergency procedures of operating a marine vessel. To view the instructions and provide a signature, you may click here. You may complete this at another time. We will include the link in the confirmation email and reminder email that you will soon be receiving.
(Step 3)
Card On File Authorization: (Our online checkout for reservations does not save credit card information.) Big Daddy’s Beach Rentals, LLC requires all renters to submit a credit card to be kept on file for processing ONLY in the event that damages to the rented equipment and/or extra fees are incurred. (Step 4) – (Applies to only certain individuals)
Boating Safety Education Course: Applies only to visitors from out of state who are born after January 1, 1988 and do not have a boater’s license. (Captain/operator only)
The state of Florida requires any renter who is born after January 1, 1988 and does not have a boater’s license issued to them by their home state to complete an online safety course and obtain a temporary certificate before they can rent and operate a rental boat. The online course costs $10 and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. You can find the course here. Please keep a copy of your certificate upon completion. You may complete this at another time. We will include the link in the confirmation email and reminder email that you will soon be receiving.
(Step 5)
Pay Remaining Balance: Two days before your rental day you should receive an email from us containing a link that will allow you to make a final payment. Paying the remaining balance before the time of your reservation is not mandatory, but will speed up the process of getting you out on the water! Any remaining balances can be paid in-person via card or cash on the date of your rental.
